Large water leakage under the shower door flooded the bathroom floor, every shower (we learned to block with towels). Blender not working on the rooftop restaurant for a few days so no smoothies (delicious). The ocean view included an up-front view of the bright green dumpster with piled seaweed. Minor irritations: The nightstands would fall over if you opened the drawer. And at the end they would not take no for an answer, became high pressure. They had been told 90 minutes but it was more like 3 hours. We spoke with many fellow vacationers at the resort - lots of Canadians there! Most had done the "non-time share" presentation and were not pleased with the experience. So if you like to frolic in the ocean, you would need to swim out past it. And it was thick in the water close to shore. The hotel did a great job of having a team there every day removing it and piling it in the dumpster, but by the time they left it was already piling up again. The major disappointment for us was the seaweed. The next resort however is nudist so be aware. We walked down the beach in the opposite direction from Puerto Morales. It was not an adult-only resort, but they did not have a lot for kids to do besides the beach & ocean, so it was mostly adults anyway. Also no issues ever getting into a restaurant. We were able to secure beach chairs each day with no problem. It didn't appear that the hotel was full. We didn't end up eating here as we were always so full from the hotel restaurants. There are some very nice shops, some flea market types, and some nice restaurants. We walked to town twice, about 20 minutes each way. The room cleaners did a good job of cleaning but were hit and miss leaving the right amount of towels and refilling the fridge. Service on the beach was great some days, sketchy on others. The waiters and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Every pair of chairs had a side table and an umbrella providing shade. We very much enjoyed the smaller size of the hotel and the beachfront location. We ate at the Italian restaurant 3 times. The food was the best we've ever had at an all-inclusive resort. We also enjoyed the large deck with coffee table, loveseat, chairs, and 2 lounges - sat out there quite a bit. We stayed here March 6-13, in room 317 (a one bedroom residence, side ocean view).
